Ramadan: A Time of Blessing and Connection on Our Halal Journey

No part of our halal journey in Indonesia has been more meaningful than our experience during Ramadan—the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, and a time when food becomes a symbol of community, gratitude, and togetherness. We quickly learned that Ramadan is more than a religious observance; it is a celebration of family, tradition, and the joy of sharing a meal after a day of fasting. For us, this was the perfect opportunity to connect with Indonesian consumers and live our halal values in action. 

During Ramadan, Indonesian families spend 120% more on food than usual, with a high demand for convenient, flavorful condiments that make preparing iftar (the evening meal) easier. We launched special Ramadan bundles, featuring our halal-certified chicken essence, satay seasoning, and chili sauce—products designed to help busy families prepare delicious, authentic meals quickly. We also partnered with local communities to distribute free iftar meals, using our halal seasonings to bring flavor to those in need. 

What touched us most was the warmth and gratitude we received from Indonesian families. We heard stories of mothers using our chicken essence to make comforting soto ayam for their children after a day of fasting, of families gathering around the table to enjoy satay marinated in our halal seasoning, and of elders praising the authenticity and halal integrity of our products. These moments reminded us why we started our halal journey: to bring people together through food, to honor their faith, and to be a part of their most cherished traditions. Ramadan is not just a season for us—it is a reminder of the purpose behind our work.
